Face ID、Touch ID

TidyFlow

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 26, 2026

Our Core Commitment

Your photos, videos, contacts, files, and recognized content are processed on your device. TidyFlow does not upload this content to its own servers, sell personal information, or track you across apps.

1Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the TidyFlow iOS app and explains how the app processes, protects, and deletes your information.

2Information We Process

Photos and videos

With your permission, the app reads photos, videos, and necessary media information on your device to find duplicates, similar items, screenshots, screen recordings, and large files. Analysis results are not uploaded to TidyFlow servers. Deletion occurs only after you select items and confirm again; deleted media normally moves to the system Recently Deleted album.

Contacts

With your permission, the app compares contact names, phone numbers, and email addresses on your device to identify duplicates. It requests deletion only after you confirm.

Files and PDFs

The app accesses only directories or files you explicitly select through the system file picker. File organization, duplicate comparison, and photo-to-PDF conversion happen on your device.

Screenshot recognition and Private Album

Screenshot text recognition, QR recognition, and Privacy Check happen on your device. Screenshot history and Private Album use AES-GCM encryption, with keys stored in the device Keychain. Importing to Private Album or analyzing a screenshot creates a local encrypted copy and does not automatically delete the original from Photos.

Settings and usage state

The app stores preferences, free-tier usage, cached membership status, and necessary local history on your device so features work correctly.

3How We Use Permissions

Photos

Used to scan and preview media, save optimized copies, and request deletion of selected items after you confirm.

Contacts

Used to find duplicate contacts and request deletion after you confirm.

Face ID, Touch ID, or device passcode

Used only to verify your identity on the device and unlock Private Album. Biometric templates are managed by the system and cannot be read by the app.

Files

Used only to access directories you authorize through the system file picker. You can stop access or choose another directory at any time.

4Data Transfer and Third-Party Services

TidyFlow does not sell your personal information, serve behavior-based ads, track you across apps, or integrate third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.

Apple processes membership purchases, renewals, restoration, and refunds through the App Store and StoreKit. The app receives only product and entitlement status and does not receive or store your payment card information.

When you choose to open Maps, Phone, Calendar, a webpage, or shipment tracking, the content is handled by the selected system app or external service under its own privacy policy. If iCloud Photos is enabled, Apple handles media syncing and downloads according to your system settings.

5Local Storage, Retention, and Deletion

Screenshot history is retained for 30 days by default. You can change this to 7 days or keep it indefinitely, and you can clear all history at any time.

You can permanently delete all encrypted Private Album copies and their security key. You manage generated PDFs, exported files, and optimized media saved to the system photo library.

Uninstalling the app deletes local data in its app container, but does not automatically delete items saved to Photos or Files, or purchase records retained by Apple.

6Security Measures

Private Album and screenshot history use AES-GCM encryption. Encryption keys are stored in the device Keychain and are accessible only on the current device while it is unlocked. Sensitive directories use system file protection and are excluded from cloud backup.

When the app enters the background, it automatically locks Private Album, clears decrypted sensitive images, and hides app-switcher snapshots with a privacy shield.

No security measure can provide an absolute guarantee. Use a strong device passcode and install system security updates promptly.

7Your Choices and Controls

You can withdraw photo, contact, or biometric-related permissions at any time in iOS Settings. Related features may stop working after permission is withdrawn.

You can clear screenshot history and Private Album in the app and delete generated documents. Uninstall the app to remove other local settings.

8Children's Privacy

The app does not require an account and does not knowingly collect children's personal information. If you believe a child's information has been handled improperly, contact us as described below.

9Policy Updates

We will update this policy when features, legal requirements, or data practices change materially, and show the new update date. Material changes will be communicated appropriately.

10Contact Us

For questions about this Privacy Policy or data handling, contact the developer through the App Support channel listed on TidyFlow's App Store product page.
